I'm curious: How many of the people who complain about #Mozilla ToS pay for Firefox? What's the ratio between overall users and small donors?

@ed are you implying that the only people who deserve to not be surveiled are those who are paying?

@ainali not at all. I'm curious because all software is expensive, including Open Source and there is no magic solution. Someone has to pay in some form and Mozilla has been in search for new revenue streams to support the development of the browser (I hear that Thunderbird has a different experience.)

@ed That justifies the second of your questions, but why does it matter if people suffer in silence and don't pay or speak up and don't pay?

@ainali you're misunderstanding my intention: I just asked a question.
