I do not have the resources to have voice acting for NPC dialoguesI could use AI to generate some but we could also chose for something funny like mumbring or nonsense like Animal Crossing for example?

@stux The fun but loooong way would be to take extracts from speeches, split words/sentence fragments, and stitch them together. A punk band made that decades ago to have the pope or something say "no marriage until sex"

@stux Crowd-source it? Post the script, ask people to record themselves saying it.I'm not sure I could manage an American accent, but it could be amusing having the bad guys with extremely stupid accents. (Or I could do you a good English Bond villain...)

@stux Hhmmmmm. I am not a gamer and I don’t know what it takes to make an interesting and playable game. I did think the nonsense in Animal Crossing was funny, but I was a bystander to my kids playing the game.

@stux Any ability to include speech bubbles like you get in comic books? Could eliminate the entire problem class, reduce it all to text, and then you'd be done and move on?
