       I've bought from AliExpress for 15 years? S long time. Today I logged in, my shopping cart of 34 items, all but four grayed out, "not available to ship to your country", a new screen/item shows tax single digit dollars) and $50 for tarriffs. Oh well. Knew it was coming.

       @tomjennings Interesting. Are the tariffs called out per item? Percentage-wise?Would very much like to see tariff charges called out on receipts on meatspace purchases (wishful thinking). It would be very edumacational for the general public.

       @vga256 AliExpress is a good business. Very reputable, certainly far better than Amazon, in fact no comparison. Even early on, when there were still wild-west sellers, Ali would make good. I've done literally thousands of transactions with them. They always make very clear what charges will be, up front.
