       Enjoyed binging more Girls Band Cry on #Crunchyroll by Toei and while the 3D CGI takes getting used to, the story's so good I don't mind it, and I don't mind that it's a 🇯🇵 sub only show...and it might not work as a dub with all the music involved.  It's always a little weird when the characters speak in English but sing in Japanese...I get the conceit and the limitations....The story is good enough to dub but the songs would probably be harder to adapt and they'd probably just leave the music in Japanese.

       @GenXotaku1971@urusai.social the cool thing about girls band cry is that the voice actors are all musicians and they actually play the music on the show themselves

       I've learned just enough Japanese to pick out some high frequency words & phrases.  I don't follow the main dialogue but some of the short lines i do pick up on.  And note other things like how because Momoka the guitarist is the oldest at 20, the other girls never fail to address her as Momoka-san.  Girls Band Cry is so full of drama and emotion that it reels me in.
