       Time for a new construction thread!I bought a small apartment in the center of Athens and I'm going to renovate it.I will attempt to do everything I can myself. I'm not confident I can do everything but I'll try my best. I find this sort of work satisfying, low stress and something I hope I will be eventually proud of.Let's begin.

       @qwazix@bananachips.club i renovated an apartment once. maybe this is stating the obvious to you, but i learned just do one thing at a time, don't start the next thing till the current one is finished 🙂

       I have not decided yet on how exactly it will look like. I have a general idea and I intend to respect the original 1960's style but the specific apartment is a quite nondescript example of the era* so I'd like to instill a bit of character.Today's white/gray washed out, clinical aesthetic is not to my liking at all, but I don't want to fall into the pit of doing what we now think the 60's looked like.*A later mini-renovation didn't help either, I suspect it stripped whatever splash of color existed.
