       @AnarchoNinaAnalyzes What's impressive is that the conversation going on in media is all about how these countries can lower their tariffs and negotiate - except these numbers aren't based at all on the tariffs other countries charge- and if there is any relationship, it's actually inverted!They are based on trade deficits, so the only way to zero them would be a trade embargo- 'stop selling Americans your goods'.There isn't a dial for anyone to turn here.

       @AnarchoNinaAnalyzes Oh he's entirely right.  And it's not even a presidential power, it's an emergency action allowed in a temporary crisis when the legislature is unable to conviene for a while ( intended as an invasion reaction or similar).But we are in an 'energy emergency' and the CR makes this session of the house be "one day' so it won't have the 120 day expiration timer.  It's crazy, congress could end this at any point.

       @aral @AnarchoNinaAnalyzes"Cheetolini" to me is a more fitting gloss for Trumpster, for he's closer in his mannerisms and massive ego to il Duce ("El Douche'"???) than to Hitler. Also, at least Adolph actually wrote Mein Kampf on his own.
