@GottaLaff the context will come when the details reveal all the big loopholes they will add on to let them avoid most if not all of the taxes. There is no way they will really not the hand that feeds them here. It will be some kind of smokescreen.

@GottaLaff Sure. On INCOME. Bet you the capital gains rate - where the ultra-rich actually earn their fortunes - stays the same. Consistent with when they fucked up SALT, which higher earner non-billionaires used to lower their tax bills.

@GottaLaff The top rate in 2017 was 39.6% & that kicked in at ~$427K for single filers. 40% starting at a million is in many ways inferior to what we had 8 years ago.
