       I hiked to the top of this big rock today in southern #NewHampshire (Mt. Monadnock). Glad to make it up safely on this long steep section of trail (class II) as it had turned into a frozen #waterfall over the winter (top right).  Mild temps and light wind made for great #hiking weather.        These icy sections of #trail are what remained of the #winter in this mountain that hiked earlier this week. The #ice appeared once I got above a certain elevation but was only present below the tree line.
