       @internetarchive honestly, these companies are being absolutely reckless just for the sake of their own ego. Access to these older recordings has only encouraged consumers to seek out the higher quality recordings elsewhere, helping their enterprise out, but noooo, we gotta leech every last theoretical dime possible out of the consumer. All they're going to do is cause a 2nd burning of the library of Alexandria, thus harming themselves since research makes good music that they could be selling

       @internetarchive Imagine being a company who makes millions of dollars, feeling threatened by a library. Unbelievable. These billionaires are upset that people are still having fun and learning for free. Absolutely disgusting.
