Sadly, Indian government doesn't recognize atheism. I wanted to be identified as one, but looks like that's not possible yet. There's only one instance where someone got "No caste, no religion" certificate from a local government official. I don't know how useful that will be.Constitution talks about freedom of religion, what about freedom of not following any religion?

@redstarfish "Atheism" isn't really a thing - the correct term is; "not delusional".Maybe they should optionally provide certificates about being; "certified free from delusion", but such basic thing really shouldn't need a certificate.

@Suiseiseki @redstarfish Not delusional?Denying the most basic thing about reality is far from being "non-delusional".

@shakil_tcs @redstarfish But there are many religions. You clearly believe that all of them but one is a delusion, but have you considered the possibility that all of them are?
