       I'm leaving the @fosstodon instance. Here's why:I post A LOT about FOSS, Linux, BSD, Open Source Software and policies, and privacy/security. With that said, I also post some, but not a lot, of political, bicycle infrastructure, pedestrian infrastructure information, and even sometimes about my veganism and animal rights work. In all honesty, with the current political issues here in the US, it's hard not to post about it. 1/3

       Recently, I've received a few messages (one rather rude) from fellow fosstodon users asking me to stop posting about anything not related to FOSS. Specifically, related to politics and bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure. That's fine. I will do just that. 2/4

       I'm a monthly financial supporter of fosstodon. I'm currently unemployed so I'm unable to support with a lot of money, but I support as much as I can because I appreciate the work that @mike and @kev do to keep this instance running so well. So, thank you to the two of you.3/4

       I've, thankfully, kept my Vivaldi instance going so that is most likely where I will move to because, honestly, I have no idea where else I would go where I would be allowed to post about multiple subjects. Follow me there if you want to or, you know, don't. If folks don't like what I post, they can simply skip over my post or just block me. 4/4
