We are 7 months away from Windows 10 EOL and Windows 11 market share is going down and Windows 10 going up amongst gamers, I don't know what there plan is but Microsoft better be thinking something up or they're in for some trouble

@BrodieOnLinux Screw both 10&11, MS should renew and re-publish Windows 7 🤓

@BrodieOnLinux That's such a huge swing, seems unlikely almost 20% of Windows 11 users collectively decided to reintall their PC and downgrade to Windows 10 in the same month. Are we sure this isn't just statistical noise?Having said that, the main point still stands. W11 is _not_ popular, _at all_. Better be some plans from MS, as I'm not 100% sure just forcing W11 down people's throat is the way to go.

@sstendahl Even if Windows 11 was at 55% that's not where Microsoft wants to be this close to an EOL

@BrodieOnLinux something people may not realize is even with bypasses for requirements windows 11 may not boot on some systems, particularly laptops with legacy graphics cards

@BrodieOnLinux Exactly, as I said in my second paragraph even if this giant shift is just noise that doesn't change your point. It's clear that Windows 11 is not popular, people do not want to upgrade to W11. Seems to me their plan is to just force it down people's throat. I'm not sure if that is the best course of action for them long-term.

@sstendahl @BrodieOnLinux people didnt like windows 10 either and it made me switch to linux. I dont get how windows 10 ever became "popular". Stockholmsyndrome and desperation I presume. Either way, normies are incapable of even thinking of installing linux so theyll just let themselves get forced into windows 11 just like all the companies.

@BrodieOnLinux The Big Five keeps trying to jam Spyware-AI into every nook & cranny of its software.Consumers aren't having it...

@BrodieOnLinux Windows 10 will be the new windows XP! Some ATMs upgraded to Windows 7, maybe they'll upgrade to Windows 10 soon.People predicting there are going to be many cheap PCs / Laptops (because they are Windows 11 incompatible) are plain wrong. Nobody cares about a Windows version going EOL. It just doesn't matter to anyone.

@BrodieOnLinux With all the stupidity in the world, do you think people get what kind of security risk they'll be so they can play Fortnite (or whatever)? This is why I won't be a Graybeard gatekeeper when it comes to helping folks with Linux.
