I have been telling for almost 5 years that Mozilla and Red Hat are just pure evil. Mozilla is starting to show their true colours. I use Librewolf but I am pretty concerned about how Mozilla's crap will impact their forks and the lack of alternatives. Or maybe the web is just pure Google's spoiled shit and we just cannot do anything.

@jrballesteros05 >nd we just cannot do anything.Financing must come from the people who use the tools, that's all there is too it, nothing else provides proper feedback and resources than people actually using the tools.Only crowdfunding non lucrative for this is the solution for software freedom but:>Or maybe the web is just pure Google's spoiled shit and we just cannot do anything.Google is part of the many corporations that fucked up the public perception of computing be it commerce or usage. One could blame IBM at for their must license everything until they released the IBM pc. Then you can also blame Microsoft for being a monopoly on the OS market while they still got revenue as license are pre paid by the sellers rather than the customers.Making customers absolutely oblivious of the process. Then you can blame shareware bait and switch companies that provided software gratis. Which again made users absolutely oblivious on the cost of software creation/maintenance.Then you can blame the financially "gratis" SaaSS websites but not gratis in terms of brain time allocation.Which again furthered the user population from being disconnected from the real word. Then you can blame education for accepting bribes from all the previously mentioned entities which makes each new generation less and less capable of thinking outside of the walled sandbox/simulation.End the end you have to fight not only against corpos, but also hordes of tech illiterate and unconscious people.

@mangeurdenuage The last sentence is the key. In my own experience every time I told people about freedom and tried to convince them to move to GNU only one person followed my advice, in that time I was a so annoying GNU evangelist and I could only convince one person. Now I try to convince as much as people to avoid Big techs craps, especially regarding security and privacy, I even offered my support and nobody has listened to me yet. Many people just don't care and that's so sad. In Spain many people assume you have WhatsApp installed and many companies started to promote their services by using that app, excluding people who does not have a mobile phone or do not want to install that crap. So, yeah I agree with you in this. In the end no matter how much those companies are evil if people keep using those abusive services.

@jrballesteros05 I've had some success show the stats on human social relations since the mass adoptions of proprietary hardware/software.
