@jeffcliff we need a way for things that break NDAs/manufacturer bs to be replicated and searchable.There's a bunch of code on github that can be searched with your favourite search engine, and I managed to get my hands on some software for configuring some qualcomm chips, but it's sometimes tricky to find information.

@jeffcliff like hashes and hashtables are cool but they don't really help with searching for something.likewise internet archive et al will have problems if they try to host copyright protected materials like sample code for a device protected under NDA

@jeffcliff that said with fair dealing in canada maybe this is less of a problem - the code is being used for the purpose of research and self-directed study after all :)

@bananarama guess in that case you might have to make a website and index it yourself - can't be that much of it to index once you find/have the website for it specifically
