@interfluidity I'm not sure what changed (for me) but I'm no longer able to access your website. I get the RSS feed but unable to load http(s) in Chromium nor Firefox. Tried on my mobile device as well. Also tried different wifi networks. No VPN.

@ike that's very strange! thanks for letting me know. it's up for me. can i ask whether are you trying https://drafts.interfluidity.com/ or https://www.interfluidity.com/ or are both unavailable? (only) if you are comfortable saying so, where are you physically located?

@interfluidity hm, both for me. https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/interfluidity.com?proto=https&www=1But it doesnt load on either my home network nor while I'm here at starbucks. So I suspect some DNS resolver filtering, and so I disconnected my phone from wifi (and use google's dns resolver) and sure enough your site loads! My guess is that your site is on a blacklist for cloudflare safe dns: https://blog.cloudflare.com/introducing-1-1-1-1-for-families/#two-flavors-1-1-1-2-no-malware-1-1-1-3-no-malware-or-adult-content

@interfluidity To clarify:On my home network, I use Cloudflare's custom DNS Resolver (its a setting I put in my router) a lot like Google's custom DNS, and it blocks a lot of shady websites from loading. I suspect Starbucks uses the same or similar. I checked your website while _not_ connected to my homenetwork nor SBUX, using my phone's 5G internet (which probably uses a Google DNS Resolver), and your site loaded fine. Thus, your domain appears caught in at least Cloudflare's block list.

@interfluidity I believe this could be due to your domain previously being used for shady purposes, or maybe you host some edgy content that is NSFW. I'm unsure how to remove your site from that blacklist, but I know someone who might be able to offer some ideas if you need help / if its a priority.

@ike i would appreciate any help. to my knowledge my domain has never been used for anything nsfw or sketchy. i did recently have some kind of breach of my notes server, maybe there was something not-great placed there? in any case, i’d like to understand and remedy this.

@interfluidity I found a tool in Cloudflare's console that verifies my suspicion, and allows me to request a fix on your behalf. Note that this is just for Cloudflare. Other custom DNS resolvers like OpenDNS, GoogleDNS, etc. might have similar issues (I haven't tested those and dont know for sure what SBUX uses). If you have a cloudflare account, I suggest you submit your own request for review for your domain as well, and encourage others to do so: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/security-center/miscategorizations?domain=interfluidity.com#Cloudflare

@interfluidity For a moment, I thought your site was caught up in Steve Black's host files[1] which are used as the basis for these types of things. I searched for your website in his consolidated unified list and didn't see it, so my contact may not be that useful in this case.[1] https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts?tab=readme-ov-file

@interfluidity btw I seem to be able to access your site now. That was a surprisingly quick fix.

@ike it sure is! and i'm relieved. (i can see that 1.1.1.3 now resolves my domain. yay!)i did fix the hole by which people were able to post unauthorized notes at notes.interfluidity.com. but the notes i found there were maybe a bit spammy, but not malware or nsfw. i still don't understand why i would have been blocked.thanks again for letting me know about this, and figuring out who and how i was being blocked!
