I was bumping Rump Shaker's by Wreckx N Effect when I was putting air in my car's tires at a station. A lady police officer pulled up and asked me why I blew the red light adjacent to the station. I explained I was new to driving a stick (lie) and had paniced. If you are in #LA #LosAngeles - maybe instead of showing the drama, you could show how peaceful and pleasant it is.No need to feed Trump's false narrative to the world that LA is having massive civil unrest greater than anything that has happened in the last 40 years that justifies military involvement.

@interfluidity Its probably a losing platform, but I wish there were a candidate committed to strengthening democracy, representation, and addressing issues causing polarization:- gerrymandering in both blue and red states- voting security - money in politics - first-past-the-post / winner-take-all instead of ranked-choice- winners keep winning dynamicsYet a candidate would have to focus on all that w/o stepping on a mine while appealing to enough partisan voters on their pet issue.

That Trump wants to take the money generated from tariffs (which are paid by businesses) and distribute them to low and middle income people, is the most Socialist idea he has ever had.Even Bernie Sanders wouldn't be so bold to float that idea!
