Hey fedi, at #38C3 three of my Blinkekatzen have gone missing. They are cat-shaped lights that have a label on the bottom with my Fedi handle, mobile number and link to my blog. I had them deployed in hall 3.Please let me know if you find them somewhere or have taken them with you by accident.Boost appreciated!

@Toble_Miner a bit off topic: ist it the same technic as in https://retia.io/products/38c3-make-your-own-smart-wi-fi-connected-purrsheen-cat-lamp-day-4-14-00-15-30 ?

@flo While the tech stack seems to have some similarities - I'm also using an ESP and addressable RGB LEDS - the overall implementation is quite different. Full software and hardware design sources are available on my blog article if you want to dive into the details: https://kittenlabs.de/blinkekatze/

On the plus side I managed to repair the Blinkekatze that broke at 38C3. Seems a solder joint on the LGA barometric pressure sensor failed. Quick retin and reflow fixed that. Back to 25 working Blinkekatzen now.Might also be able to revive another one. Think that one needs the battery gauge reballed.

Ok, sadly they did not turn up at lost and found yet. Think I will either build a bunch more or finally design a revision 2 with longer battery runtime so I can also usefully have them at camps and such without needing to recharge constantly. I have so many plans for cool projects again :blahaj:
