       @feliks Why is it desirable to kiss a visor of medieval armor? What does the person inside of it do in the meantime? The dialog might be also be a little bit akward: "I rode across the whole country... *SQUIICH* ... fought countless enemies only to see... *Skrrrt* ... Um, can you please lift yourself up from this plate? Thanks, it was restricting blood circulation."

       @feliks You can absolutely go live off the land in some places, it's just that most people don't want to. For that matter, I very much doubt that most people would want to be a knight, let alone could become one. And that's not what the future is gonna look like. Actually, the future probably looks more like that camping one. Or maybe just a sterile, dead world like Mars.If times are getting you down, just remember, as bad as things might be right now, all other times are worse.

       @feliks Meh, the vast majority of people in the past lived lives of dull grueling drudgery (and most of the rest was episodes of danger, suffering and terror). I presume the future will be likewise; and people then will tell stories set in the turn of the 21st century about tech billionaires, SOCOM warriors and fashionable celebrities.
