       Spherical Harmonics question: my understanding is if you're given data for 2 bands (9 coefficients) but only want to use 1 band, you just use the first 4 coefficients and corresponding factors unchanged? Intuitively it feels like you'd get darker results, but from what I've read it doesn't seem like Basis functions are adjusted at all regardless of the number of bands.

       @tojiro yes. Think of it like series Taylor expansion: you can stop doing new terms at any  point. The later you stop, the more accurate the result is. But you just stop.
