@strypey amazing find! Thanks for sharing. The only real "hair in the soup" is their use of #Cloudflare on the site (downloads via IPFS or other sites may completely avoid that, I don't know). But man, what a truly collaborative effort. All of their datasets and stuff is bittorrent backed by volunteers - and you're encouraged to contribute to it.Thanks for sharing!#CultureShare

@strypey Under Torrents:> These torrents are not meant for downloading individual books.I strongly disagree. Since I'm able to select individual files in my torrent client I can download only what I need and seed the file to other readers and archivers. If you only download via HTTP you give back nothing.

@kzimmermann > The only real "hair in the soup" is their use of Cloudflare on the siteI agree that this is far from ideal. The problem is DDoS is a thing, especially when your project has enemies who are keen to scrub you from the face of the web. CF is the best known way to prevent this, which I believe is the main reason people use it.If you have know of effective non-corporate anti-DDoS tools, I encourage you to contact them and suggest replacements.#CloudFlare #DDOS

@strypey I think it's a mistake of this website to hide the torrent options in the download sections. GenLib always gives you a torrent link.

@uexo > I think it's a mistake of this website to hide the torrent options in the download sections100%. I wonder what their rationale is?
