@paradroyd what software do you use on your TRS80 for calling BBS's? What term program? Why I ask is someone offered to start working on the Mister FPGA TRS80 core and he added serial/uart - hayes modem emulation .. Would like to give it a whirl .. if you got a DSK image that would be handy or point me to a link to get it.. thanks

@ericgus Sorry I haven't replied sooner.. somehow I missed your question until now.Theres no serial port or floppy controller in my model 4. It's using the telnet app that comes with the M3SE, specifically, the latest update. Previous versions didn't handle echo properly on most BBSs. The latest version does, and does a pretty good job with monochrome ANSI.

@ericgus That would be nice. I'd also like to see that for the Atari 8 bit core someday. Bonus if they can get Fujunet network support in there.

@paradroyd someone happened to mention they were taking over development for the trs80 core and I threw the idea out .. they were happy to oblige .. dont follow the 8 bit atari forums but ill keep an eye out and mention it if someone asks about core updates.
