Still working away at automating the installation of Proxmox. To make the process unattended, I'm trying to find a way to boot the .iso which allows for booting it once for the installation process and only once, or else the installer will just keep running.I'm currently looking at PXE solutions, although this seems to be greatly complicating the situation. Maybe if I just create a script to create a GRUB entry for booting from the USB when I need to, that will be the simplest option.

@bekopharm That's another option, although as far as I'm aware you can't ask Proxmox for support by doing it this way. They only support using their .iso for installing. It's highly unlikely that I'll ever need Proxmox support, but I like the idea of getting this to work in a 'supported' environment.

Done! I've created a script that adds the option of 'Boot from USB' to Proxmox's GRUB menu then sets it as the default so that it boots into it after rebooting. This might be useful to others, so I'll tidy up my repo and can share it soon.
