       I'm vaguely annoyed that I'm having such trouble with the last few televisions I've purchased.They need so many repairs and adjustments! I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that I'm only buying CRT TVs from the 70s and early 80s

       @foone In case this is serious, you want to try to get ahold of the Sams PhotoFact file for the TV set(s) in question- it's the kind of detail the TV repair folks would've used to fix it (see an example here: https://archive.org/details/PhotoFact-1879)
