@foone As silly as it sounds, maybe an Android streaming box? You get Kodi, Jellyfin, native hardware acceleration, and depending on the box, full HD/UHD codec & HDR support. Otherwise, one of those mini PCs plus LibreElec should give you enough power to run & store everything. I've got a silly one by Verizon.

@foone In case this is serious, you want to try to get ahold of the Sams PhotoFact file for the TV set(s) in question- it's the kind of detail the TV repair folks would've used to fix it (see an example here: https://archive.org/details/PhotoFact-1879)

@foone Recently hacked the save file of DOS game Museum Madness so I could avoid having to do the sliding block puzzle that's in one part, and just have the game believe I did it already. Seems like a thing you'd do.
