       @dramypsyd REAL philosophers will stop to form a rail committee and subsequent rail research grant application and academic rail discovery approval board with a dedicated team of human research ethics protection researchers and moderators who must draft a binding subject charter in alignment with the university policy and academic best practice.With any luck everyone on the tracks either starves to death or dies of old age or is disqualified for being a family member (who also has tenure)

       @dramypsyd This problem would work equally as well if there were no "strangers" in the middle. But no..... philosophy has to kill at least someone, eh? it's not proper philosophy if no one dies!

       @dramypsyd It does underscore that if you find yourself in the path of an onrushing train (or car), it is most likely self inflicted, and most societal ways of interfering is typically a net negative for society as a whole.
