       @stshank@mstdn.social The obvious solution is to avoid buying Apple products unless they allow their users to use their devices as desired. Then again, that hasn't been Apple's goal for several decades, and people still let themselves get screwed over for outrageous prices. Apple doesn't need to care, because their userbase clearly doesn't care about doing the right thing either.
