       @bloodaxe@fosstodon.org I am definitely hoping server meshing lives up to the hype. An outstanding concern would be that server efficiency still matters, they can't afford to throw everyone in their own shard obviously.I will definitely say it's improving but I still have a grudge over what I perceived as them flagrantly lying in 2016. It's crazy to think about how much time has passed. I forgot to mention I do love some of the new locations but I'll edit that in tomorrow when I clean up typos 😆

       @gabriel I participated in some of their recent server-mesh tests. It worked pretty great with 500-ish players 👍🏻 It certainly was better than what we have now, the current state of things is nothing short of a dumpster fire 🔥I doubt it will be "instantly good" tho. I'e say give it a patch or two after 4.0 and then we can judge it more objectively I think 🤔
