@gabriel I participated in some of their recent server-mesh tests. It worked pretty great with 500-ish players 👍🏻 It certainly was better than what we have now, the current state of things is nothing short of a dumpster fire 🔥I doubt it will be "instantly good" tho. I'e say give it a patch or two after 4.0 and then we can judge it more objectively I think 🤔

Thank you @fosstodon for not de-facto defedarating from #Threads. I feel like your approach to this and similar situations over the years have been balanced. What I especially like is the fact that you asked your own backer community what they wished to do, and went with the majority vote. AND you provided instructions on how to ban threads on a per-account level.I continue to support Fosstodon, it's been an awesome place to be that also respects my self-agency in the Fediverse ❤️ :fosstodon:

@davidrevoy I was pleasantly surprised by this as well! And he seems to have truly taken the plunge, with Arch and all 😄 :arch:But man, that "unsubscribtion fee" from Adobe makes me see red... 😠 I've never seen anything more anti-consumer than that s**t, it has to be illegal.

@boilingsteam I will probably be waiting for the next generation of Steam Deck. I have yet to buy a handheld, I just want the tech/software to mature even further (and hopefully anti-cheat will be in a better spot).

@peertube You folks just keep delivering, thank you once again for working on this great piece of software! 😄More fine-control over sensitivity warnings is a nice touch; what is considered sensitive varies a lot from person to person 🙈 I have not checked, but does PeerTube allow you to mark videos others post as sensitive based on tags? I mean only for your personal viewer discretion of course. 🤔

I really wanna try self-hosting some stuff (#PeerTube, #Owncast and a personal site), but figuring out what to rent and how to do it, for someone who does not know anything about web-development?It's just too much :sadmsn:I guess I'll have to try and do one at a time, but I would prefer to be able to set it all up using something like #YunoHost, so I can have all the services on one VPS.#SelfHosting #NewToThis

Are there any good #PeerTube instances out there that you would recommend, that allows sign-ups and that also keeps the software up to date?I really like the videos from TILvids, but it seems like updating their server is a bit difficult.
