       I think pollsters are hedging their bets by saying this race is closer than it is. I reckon Kamala will win this. Whether or not it'll be a smooth transition of power is perhaps another question.Pollsters have proven to be wrong for a number of the past elections, so I think they're just leaning into it being close to save face.

       @ChrisWere I think there are things that make it hard to call - including that some of those charged with certifying election results in some areas clearly having an interest in making sure one of the candidates wins. And obviously the impact of the SC.

       @ChrisWere I have to agree with you. They have been so catastrophically wrong over the last few cycles. I think the most realistic poll is the Selzer poll from Iowa. 11+ point swing away from MAGA.
