@stephenharlow I'm assuming you've got an HA instance running - what components do you use? I'm looking at how ambitious I'm wanting to be in the first instance with my set up... Thinking I'll include a queue and other bits and pieces, but don't want to overcomplicate it.

Out of curiosity, is there anywhere in virtual #Aotearoa that people discussing #HomeAssistant and locally-relevant issue meet? #Geekzone? I'm keen to have https://community.iridescent.nz (a locally hosted Discourse instance with ActivityPub support) start to take on that role (along with hosting other 'open community-of-interest' groups)...

Other communities of practice I'd love to see there would be, for example, open source language communities, degrowth/climate action communities, knitters, EV communities, Local power gen people, Greenhouse people, sourdough people, fermentists, woodworkers, etc. So many cool interests people could have..
