       Doulingo this evening, in French it asks what a bistro is, a chic restaurant or "un pub". I pick restaurant. Non, says Duo, c'est un pub.Non, Duo, pubs are something I have many years experience with, they are different from bistros. Trust me on this, years of experience...

       @LordWoolamaloo Duo’s English ‘translations’ are woeful.  Turns out AI doesn’t speak English very well which makes me worried about its grasp of other languages…..
