@anderspuck doubt he’d be put off by ‘too complicated’. Almost certainly it was about reach - but he’d go where he thought his peers would be. Don’t mean that in any pejorative way. Almost none of my colleagues and former colleagues have switched to Mastodon and I do miss that engagement. The few that did set up Mastodon accounts haven’t really been active here - they’ve pretty much stayed on Twitter @andiias @Loukas

@LordWoolamaloo @davidallengreen thanks, but I was a solicitor and then an Advocate so I do know the role of Scots Law. What you are talking about is the political likelihood of a course of action as opposed to a strictly legal position. Westminster could if it cared to repeal the Scotland Act in its entirety. Politically it is unlikely to say the least. But amending it? Likely it would depend on what they were amending and how widespread any uproar might be.

@randahl they are grown extensively here in Scotland - commercially and by individuals (like me! though the ones I ate tonight came from a few miles up the road in the Carse of Gowrie). I love them!
