Asking chatgpt about a place to live that's under 80F, has good pubtrans, good recycling, affordable to live in, lgbt friendly, and is inland in the eastern US.I got Nashville, Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, and Indianapolis. Asheville was also a fairly inland option but said it was less urban than the others.Curious about what you all think. Wanna figure out where I'll look to live after I'm done down here.

@Paradox I went to college in Indy and it wasn't too bad while I lived there. I don't know what qualifies as affordable to you, but living downtown it pricey unless you have a good job.If you just want to live in the city then definitely look into each area. Don't live on the East side. South side is ok but the more South you are the less lgbt friendly it will be (The people get more redneck and religious). I think the West side is ok, although I'm not sure how good transportation is over there. The North side is the "rich people" area and is probably the best place to live, although it probably cost as much as downtown or more depending on where you are. All that being said, you'd still be living in Indiana. The cost of living is great compared to most other places but there is a lot of religious conservatives if you go anywhere outside of Indy or the bigger college towns.

@Paradox@raru.re from what I know about Cincinnati and Columbus, they seem decently niceAlso it's possible to bike from Cincinnati to Columbus to Cleveland because of the extensive metroparks bike paths

@theking Cool. :)Though in no world am I biking all that distance. You can bike here, on roads with 50mph limits... but you can't drive a fucking moped, because the law says if the limit is over 35, you're fucked.
