Yesterday, I asked a question on the #Ubuntu forums and so far, there's no reply. I thought some people here might know the answer.- Clean Ubuntu install reports enable-animations as false (through one of the methods) when they're actually enabled- https://askubuntu.com/questions/1528661/clean-ubuntu-install-reports-enable-animations-as-false-when-theyre-enabledThis screws with the #Linux version of my game because the game thinks that it should skip animations when it shouldn't.#askfedi

@filiph Why should any game care about whether OS animations are enabled or disabled? Is this a thing in Ubuntu or do you just want to strictly respect the OS settings?

@fuxoft The engine I'm using respects the settings by default. I can easily override it but I'd rather fix the upstream engine so that others don't need to deal with this.
