@kaia Not comfy - there is proprietary software running on that computer.

@kaia Not caring about a proprietary daemon being in a room doesn't mean that the room is magically free of demonic energy and therefore comfy.

@mountdiscovery 10 is just as proprietary as windows - it just has slightly less antifeatures; https://www.fsf.org/windowsmicrosoft does have big plans with 11 mind you.

@Suiseiseki @kaia your wireless driver might be so too; have you run linux-libre?

@pesekcuy My what?I use 1000BASE-T.You think I wouldn't run GNU/GNU Linux-libre and GNUboot? My GNUbooted thinkpad uses a freedom respecting Atheros card, that just works with a free driver and doesn't refuse to work until you load a proprietary program onto it.

@Suiseiseki nice. I prefer a more permissive license though. I even live in it

@pesekcuy I demand freedom defending licenses, rather than weak licenses that give proprietary software companies the power to reduce the freedom by making it proprietary (if the software is any good, they always do). There is no singular "BSD license", there is 4-clause, 3-clause, 2-clause, 1-clause and 0-clause; https://www.gnu.org/licenses/bsd.html
