       [5/5] … were distributed to selected people with command or sensitive roles, not  footsoldiers or fellow travelers.  Thus, the pager attack was not an atrocity or a crime - it was simply war.  That does not imply it was morally justifiable.  Netanyahu is aiming to escalate the war between Israel and Hezbollah. and exploding the pagers was one among many attacks in the campaign of escalation.  That aim is what he deserves condemnation for.

       @rms so detonating thousands of small bombs in the middle of public spaces, sometimes crowded, or private houses, sometimes when the victim is surrounded by family, carrying a death sentence or life-changing mutilations to people that are not engaging in warfare nor are at war... is just ordinary war to you?I think your post is poorly worded to say the least, and your message doesn't come through nicely.

       @rms  Mr. Stallman, I respect your opinion, but I need to interject. Pagers weren't just used by Hezbollah; there are videos of ordinary civilians, including children, being harmed by this atrocious act of pager detonations. Israel has harmed Lebanese citizens, regardless of whether the victims are Hezbollah members or ordinary civilians. They blindly run their war machine in Gaza and West Bank. Why do you think they'd care for other nations. We need Free Hardware Designs now more than ever.
