On a final comedic twist to a disrupted day of travel, the train to which I was to connect at Würzberg for Nuremberg has been cancelled. The next train to Nuremberg will be the one we were kicked off at Hannover (running 84 minutes late).

@the_rail_life I'm headed from Munich to Berlin tomorrow for a couple of days. It's a direct train, so I really hope I won't encounter difficulties. But so far DB has not really earned my confidence.

@publius I'm hoping it was just a bad day, but from what I've heard, DB seem to be having a lot of bad days recently.Good luck with your trip, but the majority of trains I observed were only 10 to 15 minutes late.

@the_rail_life Yes, we arrived only five minutes late in the end.But our train was five carriages shorter than initially planned, so every seat was full, even in first class, and someone actually had to stand for half an hour.

@publius Hope you had a comfortable seat. Short consists stuck, especially when you've booked a ticket on the part that's no longer there!
