       I hate how hard it is to use bank cards these days. I go to get some cash out the hotel ATM and it's DECLINED and FRAUD ALERT. And even when I reply to the text saying it's me and they say it should now work it's still DECLINED. FFS.This AFTER I used the same card to book up hotels etc for what is obviously a US trip.I swear it didn't used to be this much of a pain in the arse.

       @llamasoft_ox Probably because the banking systems are getting compromised so frequently that they now have an overactive immune response..to the point of making things basically not work half the time.

       @paradroyd it was the same thing when I bought a car earlier this year. I had to do so much "this is not fraud" dancing just to spend money that was unequivocally in my account it was exhausting. Fucking hate all this. Just more fucking enshittification.
