@ericgus I was holding off until I heard whether you could add ROMs, because most of my favorites, like TRON and some of the more recent homebrews are usually not included. Good to hear you can add stuff to it.

@ericgus I have a lot of these modern ROMs too. https://intellivision.us/gamelist.phpMs. Night Stalker is particularly good.

@BrideOfLinux Well, it mostly updated, but I get no GUI login prompt.I can switch to a TTY and login fine. Looks like cosmic-greeter didn't install all the way.I'll work through this later (or maybe tomorrow.) I really didn't expect it to be totally smooth sailing on the first go.If all else fails I have an image backup. I'm going to try to work through it first though.

@BrideOfLinux I've been running on 24.04 with COSMIC for a couple days on my HP DevOne, since I saw your initial post. I did an in-place upgrade from Gnome-based 22.04 by doing 'pop-upgrade release upgrade -f' as described on the System 76 blog.I had a few issues with the transition, but I was able to work through them pretty easily. Really liking it so far!

@llamasoft_ox Owls are weird. The always show up here in large groups spread across many trees in the neighborhood, calling out to each other from various trees. They are quite loud. Then, as suddenly as they appeared, they are silent / gone. There's no obvious rhyme or reason to this cycle.

I'm glad that #Tailscale finally addressed this. I got burned by this on multiple machines when a Dell BIOS update screwed with TPM and Tailscale wouldn't load because it couldn't open the state file anymore. The only way to get it back was to blow away the state file and recreate it, which is great if you have physical access. Not so much for headless remote machines.

The bigger PITA about it when you blow the state file away and recreate it, you are effectively creating a new host, so any shares you had on the previous version..like with remote family members on a media server, etc, go away, and you have to re share the new incarnation of the host. This along with explaining to all of the people you've shared with why they now have to accept an invite again. At least I had proper DNS entries, so there was only 1 DNS record to change.

@robdaemon Probably for the best. If you DID understand, you'd likely be part of that problem.
