When #Zelensky was running for president in 2019, his main narrative was exactly the same as what #Trump doing now, that he could negotiate peace with Muscovite. Zelensky had a huge media business in russian empire, was considered as pro-russian candidate and even was endorsed by russian propaganda ( https://foreignpolicy.com/2019/04/01/ukraines-tv-president-is-dangerously-pro-russian/ ) ...

...When elected, after half a year of negotiations for peace, Zelensky turned into radical #russophobe. I expect the same outcome for Trump if he wins. But Zelensky just gave up, while with Trump it could really go nuclear.

@magicalthinking There was no peace, only ceasefire negotiated under Democrat banner in 2015 (Minsk agreements), which didn't work, Muscovite continued to use artillery at the frontline until 2019. They stopped because of Zelensky.
