       I’m glad Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. I suspected she would. I can’t claim to know her, but from everything I’ve seen, it would’ve been weird if she didn’t.But, not gonna lie, I had my doubts. The silence got far too uncomfortable. Clearly The Guardian’s Arwa Mahdawi felt the same way.Turns out it was worth the wait. You gotta admire her timing, intentional or not.        Actually, I’m pretty sure Taylor Swift timed her endorsement deliberately. She’s calculated and cunning in a way that would scare a veteran spymaster.        I read what I just wrote, and—sometimes, I say things that are meant to be hyperbole, but turn out to be just plain true. This is one of those moments.Calculated and cunning in a way that would scare a veteran spymaster? If anything, that’s an understatement. This is one (1) woman, albeit a very famous one, who could swing an American presidential election with a single social media post.Meanwhile, Russia is running whole-ass operations with that very aim, and none of that comes close.
