Did a test of loading in the tracking data points into Google Earth; it really puts in perspective how long of a drive this is.

@ncommander I saw these driving log(?) videos going up, but I feel like I missed some context. What's got you coming out to the west coast?

@qlp @ncommander I've got family down in Beaverton. It's always lovely to get to take the train down, particularly when the leaves start changing color

@CursedSilicon @ncommander Beaverton is where I'm at. I really, really need to take a train ride up to Seattle one of these days. I've been meaning to, but time and money haven't been on my side.

@qlp @CursedSilicon Beaverton was fun; I lived in St. Helens, OR for 4 years, and would go down Cornelias Pass fairly often off US-30.

@ncommander @qlp Haven't gotten to check out many of the other parts of Oregon, other than downtown Portland Everyone down in Beaverton seem so laid back though which is a nice change from the "Seattle freeze"

@ncommander @CursedSilicon The drive down from Beaverton/Hillsboro to Hwy 30 is really nice, either via CP or Germantown. I used to drive all around there when I had a nice (not-so-little) coupe just to take in the twists, turns and the beautiful trees.

@ncommander @ehurtley missed the beautiful drives through BC from AB either highway 1 or 3. Those windey mountain roads are such a sight
