       I fear sometimes that the Scientific Mindset is not permanently part of our culture. That the idea that Things Make Sense if you do the work to figure them out, will go out of style.There is a certain kind of person who wants to destroy this mindset. Who wants us to think that the world is mysterious and arbitrary. Because that lets them trick us into giving them power over us.
