reminded of the good ol' days (imagine that phrase but dripping in sarcasm) where you had to debug and recompile multiple different pieces of software to try a solution that might not even work, just so i can play nfs underground in fullscreen via gamescope because of a recent regression causing crashes on intel gpu drivers.the real answer to "how did you learn so much about linux" is everything was broken all the time and i had the free time to fix it

but at the same time it's not like i would've learned how to debug windows graphics drivers without titanfall 2 crashing like every 1/4 of the time it does a specific load texture call to the amd driver so it just kinda works like that in general

@phoenix My first experience with Linux was scavenging forums in a different language to find out why my laptop only had video output with `nomodeset`.Naturally, my second experience was fixing the audio 😅 Nowadays people install any random distro and most of the time it Just Works. It really is impressive.

@phoenix even musl isn't the quintessential experience anymore
