Fascinated by this wooden practice typewriter. From some gap in time where a mass produced machine made of metal was more expensive than all the damn labor to make those wooden keys. I must confess the urge to get this, and wire it up with some switches so it works is... it is nearly overpowering. Irresistible... unnnnahh..

@futurebird I find that deeply puzzling. If you don't have some physical output from your typing then how can you check your keystrokes? My late mother was a professionally trained touch typists. I wish she was still alive so I could ask her if she'd ever seen anything like this.

@futurebird why have a wooden typewriter when you could have a giant mutant frog which records your gestures, color changes, and stridulations while you dictate?
