Were you cheering when Modi threatened to arrest Titter employees for not blocking activists and legitimate news organisations? Or when Jack Ma got arrested? Or when Hong Kong media company execs were disappeared by the CCP?@glent @priryo

@strypey @glent @priryo Dictators also drive cars, but we don't generalise based on that.The means (in this case, nicking a CEO) is a very different topic to the ends for which it's employed.There's a gulf of difference between a company refusing to filter speech that's critical of $govt and refusing to intervene when CSAM is being shared
