@lain@lain.com I had literal breathing problems back in July when the air conditioner wasn't working lol. It was nearly 100 degrees with insane humidity. It is legitimately a health risk not to have air conditioning in some cases.

@gray @lain @sim @sun no it's just that up until now people haven't needed AC in northern and north-central europe, literally not hot enough to justify the expense and maintainance, focus has always been on heating (with waterborne heating grids and such being commonthat is changing fast ofc, due to global warmingalso german boomers are very into a naive kind of naturalism thus these kinds of attitudes, it's dumb af tho because as mentioned noone here would go without artificial heating in winter
