       @artemesia not my intention but I guess it would amount to that. what's problematic for some isn't so for others. a newbie here might get told a few times that they need to hide their posts behind content warnings and then choose to never come back here again, all while most people here wouldn't care and enjoy their posts. maybe I'd rather the people upset by the lack of CWs block them than drive them away. but if they are harassing people, they should tell a mod who can talk to them.        @artemesia maybe we add to the process of reporting someone options to just say they aren't following certain etiquette. maybe mods talk to a new user at the end of their first month about some of that stuff, if they choose to. and those offended could look at the age of someone's account and only block them if they are still doing the bad stuff after they have been around for more than a month. once they've been told and decided how they wish to continue.
