       Like I think there’s value in acknowledging the limitations of human perception as our only way of understanding the world but we just can’t know anything outside of that so it’s funny that there are people out there who get that far but then immediately think it makes sense to try to define what lies beyond as something so easily conceptualized as living inside a computer

       @campbell They want it to be true for the same reason other people believe in God: because you can reason with a clock maker. You can bribe him. Climate change just kills you. Can't take back what you've done to the planet. Can't ask for more time.
