@stux I never trust auto-save, which is weird since it usually works just fine. I still don't trust it.

@stux depends on the game.Auto save is nice for games involving more exploration and travel, whereas I prefer checkpoints for more story-drive games, puzzle yes, etc.

@boltx Great point!In this case it's a little of both worlds :blobcatgiggle: there is a quest line but it's more open for choice but in turn the "world" is just a town since the player is a cat

@stux when you have autosave after a certain time it could be when you just went completely the wrong way or got stuck and you cannot get out. I prefer a save that has a name that shows you where in the story it is and if it's the most recent one or an old one so you can pick up a save that makes it possible to get an object that you skipped over

@stux both are good but checkpoints create mini goals. However, sometimes checkpoint can create frustration. For autosave I need the option to go back to an earlier save and not just the most recent.
